The Flower Road

Flower enthusiasts like me should be happy to know that there is a long stretch of main road in Kobe called The Flower Road.
Obviously, this road is lined with flower blocks.  Flowers in season and in different colors are planted in pots or in the ground for all to enjoy.

This is one place that is a sure delight to the eyes.  Good thing the sidewalks here are wide and safe , so it is never a problem to stop and take photos.

The hydrangeas are in season now so here we have the white ones arranged on these metal frames.
The blue violet hydrangeas by the bus stop.

Isn't it lovely to walk down this road and feast your eyes on these blooms?  Look, even the window sills up there are lined with flower pots, too!
This flower bed is near a zebra-walk...so while waiting for the green light (here the green "walking man" sign indicates that it is safe to cross) people can admire the beauty of these blooms.

On this Flower Road, aside from flowers there are also markers and interesting sculptures to enjoy.
See this sculpture of a woman?  I don't know who is this and what is it for.  Maybe next time, I'll take a closer look and read the inscription.
This is an interesting display.  There's a pair of a ceramic bride and groom bunnies on that green grass there.
Who were the J-Friends?
This is another interesting and intriguing art piece.
This is the detailed map of the area.
